BY AIR: The closest airports to Cordes are Toulouse and Rodez. Several airlines operate routes to Toulouse from Gatwick and regional airports in the UK, namely British Airways, Easyjet, FlyBe and others. Ryanair flies from Stansted to Rodez. Both airports have hire car facilities and the journey to Cordes from either would be about an hour. Alternatively, from Toulouse Airport there is a bus (Navette) to the central train station, from where you can get a train to Cordes-Vindrac station and we would pick you up from there. Or travel on by coach from Toulouse to Albi and we could pick you up by prior arrangement.

BY ROAD: Taking the ferry from the UK to Calais or Boulogne, it is a straightforward drive down towards Toulouse and the Midi Pyrenees. From the Ferry terminal to Cordes is a distance of about 600 miles, either a long one-hit drive along the autoroute of about 11 hours, or for the more relaxed among us, two shorter drives with a stopover halfway down France, a chance to sample good food and wine, together with some different scenery to savour and enjoy.

BY TRAIN: The TGV from Paris serves Toulouse well, with several trains running each day. Eurostar trains give a connecting service to the UK. In addition, there is a weekly overnight sleeper service from Paris to and from Lexos Station, just a few minutes from Cordes.

FINDING US IN CORDES: Although we are easy to find once you arrive in Cordes, we have included detailed instructions on the link above to help you.

TRAVELLING AROUND THE AREA: We would advise you that it would be more practical for you to have a car to use during your stay with us, either your own which you drive down, or a hire car from the airport/train station.
